Gregory Kuczinski Partner Gregory Kuczinski retired as a Sergeant from the New York City Police Department with over fifteen years of service. He has been a practicing attorney since 1994 and he is a partner of the firm. As a result of his extensive background in the New York City Police Department, as well as his success in founding a general practice law firm, Mr. Kuczinski has experienced the police department’s disciplinary system from both sides of the bench and fully appreciates the problems and issues uniquely facing members of law enforcement. He has handled and/or litigated cases in both criminal and civil actions, including personal injury, G.M.L. 205(e) claims, discrimination, labor and discipline. While assigned to the legal bureau of the N.Y.P.D., Mr. Kuczinski defended and/or prosecuted cases on behalf of the Police Department on various issues from discrimination to civil forfeiture and nuisance abatement actions. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the American Bar Association, the Westchester County Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association. He earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law and he is admitted in both New York and New Jersey as well as the Federal Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States. |
